Football is the most played sport on earth. Yet for most people, access to real coaching has always depended on where you happen to live. Grande Sports was built to change that — a mobile-first football training platform that brings professional-level coaching to anyone with a phone and a drive to improve. Structured video lessons, progress tracking, and a platform for coaches to publish expertise and earn from what they know.
Football training content is only useful if it plays smoothly — a drill that buffers mid-demonstration makes the experience feel cheap. Ensuring smooth streaming across diverse devices and internet speeds was critical. Content structure for different skill levels needed to stay navigable as the library grew. And finding the right balance between free and premium content required careful UX planning.
The user journey starts with onboarding that does real work — users select skill level and the platform guides them into relevant content immediately. The training library is structured around skill level, category, and coach. Adaptive streaming adjusts quality based on bandwidth. Progress tracking keeps users engaged between sessions. For coaches, a clean content management system handles uploads and revenue analytics.
Grande Sports delivered on the promise that motivated the project from the beginning structured football training, accessible to people who previously had no path to it. Engagement metrics reflected what good personalisation and progress tracking always produce: users who came back. Learning paths that adapt to skill level and track improvement create a feedback loop that generic video libraries cannot replicate. Players who could see themselves getting better kept coming back to get better still. For coaches, the platform opened a revenue stream that did not exist before. Knowledge that had previously been limited to whoever could physically attend a session became scalable content with a global potential audience. The business model worked because the value on both sides was real. Accessibility proved to be the most meaningful outcome. Players in regions without professional academies, young athletes without connections to established coaching structures, self-taught players looking for a framework all of them found in Grande Sports something the football world had not previously offered them: a structured path forward, available on the phone in their pocket. In a sport that belongs to everyone, Grande Sports built the infrastructure to make coaching available to everyone too.

Grande Sports brings professional-level football coaching to anyone with a phone — structured video lessons covering beginner fundamentals to advanced tactical drills, with progress tracking and coach monetisation.

Onboarding selects skill level and guides users into relevant content immediately. The library is structured around three axes: skill level, category, and coach. Adaptive streaming ensures performance on all connections.
